| 26-May-2013 | Good | Nice material. | I am sorry that we seem to have some crossed wires here. I can see that you have since contacted Customer Services to advise that the trousers are actually 29.5inches. When alterations are done, we leave a shrinkage allowance as this is expected upon the first wash. If you have not yet done so, please do wash the trousers and you should see that the length is then correct for you. Of course, if this is not the case, you are welcome to return them to us for replacements which are measured to 29 inches upon sending. Of course, we entirely agree that alterations should be entirely accurate and we have obviously not lived up to our usual high standards in this instance. Please accept my apologies for this failing and, rest assured, I will raise the matter with our Tailoring Department so we can look to improve in future. I appreciate you have decided to keep hold of the trousers, but, if you do change your mind, we'll be very happy to exchange them or provide a refund, as you see fit. |
| 18-Apr-2013 | Bad | I do not have any problem with the trousers in themselves but that they appear to be a slightly different colour from the jacket which they were sold with. The trousers are darker than the jacket. I bought them three months ago and it has only become more apparent recently and I am now very conscious of it. This is obviously not satisfactory. | This is incredibly disappointing to read and I do apologise that you are finding the jacket and trousers of your suit are not a good match for each other in terms of the colour! Thank you for bringing this to our attention though as it’s not an issue we’re encountering regularly – we’ll take this matter on board for the future accordingly. We wouldn’t want you to feel stuck with the suit if you’re not happy to wear it so please don’t hesitate to send the garments back to us to be exchanged or for a full refund if preferred. |
