| 21-Mar-2012 | Poor | I was very excited when I received my box from CT. The promise of a Black Label suit. First impressions did not disappoint. The colour of the suit was lovely. It has a very light shine to it. The ink blue more vibrant than it appears on the website. The lining is a stunning electric blue. The suit feels good too. The mohair/wool mix making it quite light. I put the jacket on. The fit around the shoulders, back and chest was excellent - fitted but not restrictive, pronouncing the shape of my upper torso. The length of the sleeve and jacket was good too.
So why the poor rating? Well I couldn't get the jacket to button without breathing in and that was quite uncomfortable. Lets put this in prospective. I don't have a huge belly. I'm 5ft 5 with an athletic build. I measure 38" on the chest and 32" waist. I fit into CT tailored and Black Label shirts no problem. So I can only presume the jacket was tailored on someone with an exceptional small waist. I could have ordered the size up (40s) to allow me to button the jacket but this would then have been too big across the back chest and shoulders - the 38S fitted perfectly there. As much as I love the style, cut, finish, colour and feel of this Black Lable suit jacket back it goes. | How disappointing, please accept my apologies! Our Black Label suits are very fitted and will not suit everybody. You may find our classic fit suits more to your liking. |
