| 10-Feb-2013 | Poor | The shoes arrived with a large hole in the box. On opening the box, the shoes had not been damaged, but the packaging was. These shoes looked like returns as they were not immaculate as you might expect for shoes costing over £100. The suede, plus the soles had evidence of wear and I noticed that once purchased there were no more of these shoes for sale, suggesting these were the last and therefore returns perhaps. Also having bought Loakes and Barkers before, I felt that these shoes were not as good in terms of build quality. | Making sure that your order reaches you in perfect condition is always one of our top priorities. It is certainly very strange to hear that we have fallen short of your expectations on this occasion and I am truly sorry for any disappointment caused.

By the 28th after verifying payment order, the goods were brought in. This for me is very good service considering that that period was holiday season. The letter from the founder goes a long way to assure the customer that he is dealing with an organization that thrive on excellence.
